Danish Military Historic Flight operates the 3 military trainers used by the Royal Danish Airforce as trainers since second world war and participates in events and Airshows around the country telling the story of what made the airforce throughout time
KZ-II Trainer
Nickname “Silverbird” Is the first trainer used by RDAF after World War 2. Built in Sluseholmen, Denmark. It was designed to educate Spitfire pilots.
DHC-1 Chipmunk
When the Jet age entered, there was a need for a better aerobatic performance. With its slim wings and strong engine, its proven to be an excellent trainer
Saab T-17 Supporter
Is still in use as the primary basic trainer by the RDAF. This Swedish built aircraft is highly maneuverable & have been used not only as trainer but also air to ground attack
Who We Are
We Are an Independent organisation That Is Unique in the Area of aviation and our pilots comes from various background both military and civillian. We are an self funded display group, we have our own ground crew, support aircraft, mechanics etc.

Is to make people in love with aviation, with our displays in our historic military aircrafts
Our mission is to participate in airshows around the country, also out of country, to present and tell the story of the Danish Air Force trainers, where even one of the Aircraft – is made in Denmark, and by that showing the spectators what build the Royal Danish Air Force – RDAF – to be, what it is today.
Our mission is also to promote the Royal Danish Air Force and thrill people with its basic history, and to grow energy in the spirit of aviation.
